Official Rules
How to enter the “Fiat 500 Pop Car” raffle:
All raffle tickets purchased online at www.youngatheart13.eventbrite.com by 11:55 p.m. on February 8, 2013 are automatically entered in the “Fiat 500 Pop Car” raffle. Internet sales of raffle tickets are OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ILLINOIS ONLY. Raffle also can be purchased in-person at the Thresholds Young at Heart event on February 9, 2013. In-person sales of raffle tickets on February 9 are open ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF STATES WHERE IT IS NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW. Raffle tickets may be purchased by individuals who are 21 years of age or older. Raffle is void in states where prohibited by law.
Purchasing raffle tickets: Raffle tickets may be purchased for twenty dollars ($20.00) each by eligibile persons (see above) from November 8, 2012 10:00 a.m. CT until February 8, 2013 11:55 p.m. CT. There are two (2) ways to purchase Raffle tickets:
(1) Online at www.youngatheart13.eventbrite.com by purchasing "Raffle Ticket". Credit cards must be used to pay for online ticket purchases and residency status within the State of Illinois for eligibility purposes will be determined by the address assigned to such credit card.
(2) In person on February 9, 2013 at the Young at Heart event at the Field Museum in Chicago, IL.
Sale of Raffle Tickets either at the Young at Heart event or online may be suspended or stopped at any time at the sole discretion of Thresholds.
The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no portion of the Raffle ticket price will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income purposes.
Eligibility: Anyone can enter the “Fiat 500 Pop Car” raffle, except employees of Thresholds External Affairs Department, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household. The raffle is open to any United States resident. Void where prohibited by law. Winner of the “Fiat 500 Pop Car” raffle must be 21 years old or older. As a condition of being awarded the Prize, winner must sign and return a release form by March 30, 2013.
Prize: 1 Fiat 500 Pop valued at $16,200
Selection and notification of winner: A winner will be drawn on February 9, 2013 at the Young at Heart Benefit event. Online entries will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m. on February 8, 2013. Winners will be selected by random drawing and need not be present. Winners will be notified by telephone or email. The rules detailing raffle eligibility and method of selecting winner are on file at Thresholds. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries.
General: By participating in the “Fiat 500 Pop Car” raffle, the participant agrees that Thresholds and related organizations, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind which result from use of the Prize or by participation in the contest. Prize must be claimed by March 30, 2013. Prize is nontransferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Thresholds may use winner's name for publicity purposes without further compensation.
The winner is responsible for paying all taxes and expenses relating to winning the Prize. By participating in the raffle, participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.

We offer 25 innovative programs at 70+ locations throughout Chicago, the adjacent suburbs, and McHenry and Kankakee counties. Services include: assertive outreach, case management, housing, employment, education, psychiatry, primary care, substance abuse treatment, and pioneering research at the Thresholds-Dartmouth Center for Research and Training.
